Cross-border for local value: program is looking for entrepreneurs, students and researchers
UPTEC – Science and Technology Park of University of Porto is now a Cross-border for Local Value program partner. The program – a global initiative developed and operated by the Global SERS Community – will provide the opportunity to improve the emerging markets knowledge, find international talent and increase the network of innovators and partners.
The Cross-border for Local Value program is designed to be a platform that enables the creation, expansion, and understanding of cross-border businesses. Applications are open until July 13th.
SERS has attracted a global network of 41 partners – among them UPTEC – from 14 countries across 4 continents: Bangladesh, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Ghana, India, Jordan, Kenya, Nigeria, Peru, Portugal, South Africa and Sri Lanka. This online, 12-week, project-focused program is free and funded by Carleton University (Canada).
There are four program pathways in which participants can enroll: enterprise (SMEs looking to expand); entrepreneur (early stage startups and people looking to solidify opportunities into good opportunities), recent Grad or Student (for those studying, underemployed, unemployed, or interested in transitioning jobs) and Academic (researchers).
Applications for the Cross-border for Local Value program are open until July 13th. The instructions to register and enroll are available on the website’s program above the Enroll button.
