UPTEC and Ordem dos Engenheiros launch engineering entrepreneurship programme
UPTEC – Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto and the Ordem dos Engenheiros – Região Norte (OERN) have developed an Engineering Entrepreneurship Programme, aimed at professionals and students in the field.
In partnership with leading companies in Portugal such as A400, BIMMS, PROEF and REIFY, UPTEC and OERN created the programme with the aim of training engineers in the creation and validation of new business ideas to solve real challenges.
Designed especially for those who want to make a difference and lead with innovation, the programme has been drafted using tools such as #ChallengeBasedLearning, mentoring and peer learning, as well as practical activities and case studies of startups incubated at UPTEC.
The training will focus on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Industry and Services, Customer and Quality, People, Optimisation and Processes, among others. Participants will acquire the tools and support to turn business ideas into reality and transform their vision, knowledge and creativity into solutions that impact the market.
The Engineering Entrepreneurship programme will start on 7 January 2025 and more information about its structure is available here. Applications can be made until 15 December via this link, but places are limited and subject to prior selection.
