WIT is a software development company specialized on delivering the communications experience across devices for Mobile Operators and Mobile Internet companies. WIT was established in 2001, and has customers in over 15 countries, including major operators such as Vodafone Group, Unitel, Telefonica, Orange, Deutsche Telekom and TeliaSonera.The company is divided in three business units: the Telco Business, that it leading provider of rich and unified communications for Mobile Operators; the Mobile Business, that it has been developing advanced mobile solutions for Banking, Utilities, Media companies and Mobile Operators. On the other hand, the TV Business Unit develops software solutions for Cable and IPTV operators.WIT has a long-lasting relationship and strong connections with the academic world. The company has been investing annually 25% of its resources in R&D activities over the last decade. This continuous investment in R&D has been crucial for our strategy of differentiation through innovation.WIT Software is a member of COTEC Portugal, a non-profit association of Portuguese companies that have a reputation for outstanding innovation. In 2013, WIT Software won the COTEC-BPI SME Innovation Award.
