UPTEC Startup chosen by Microsoft for Global Education Programme
NILG.AI, an Artificial Intelligence consultancy startup incubated at UPTEC – Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto, has just been selected by Microsoft to join the Learn with Creators programme, which brings together online content creators with the aim of sharing knowledge about Artificial Intelligence on a global scale.
Founded in 2018, NILG.AI is dedicated to helping companies improve their decision-making processes and efficiency through Artificial Intelligence, with dedicated online resources that are shared through a podcast, a blog, courses and a YouTube channel. The channel, led by Kelwin Fernandes, CEO of NILG.AI, was created in 2023 and has more than 100,000 subscribers. With a practical and strategic approach, its videos focus on teaching companies how to adopt Artificial Intelligence in a more efficient and adaptive way.
Microsoft’s initiative connects 10 international content creators to resources within a community that aims to expand access to education in Artificial Intelligence.
“It’s a huge honour to see NILG.AI’s work recognised by a company like Microsoft. This is a moment that not only validates our commitment to excellence, but also brings us ever closer to our purpose of being the standard in the adoption of Artificial Intelligence in companies”, says Kelwin Fernandes.
NILG.AI was recently awarded Data Changemaker of the Year at DSPA Insights 2024, thanks to an Artificial Intelligence project designed to optimise the collection and management of urban waste in the Algarve.
