Jscrambler was honoured by the world’s most influential cybersecurity magazine
Jscrambler was distinguished alongside companies such as Deloitte, Microsoft, Cisco and Mastercard.
Jscrambler, a startup incubated at UPTEC—Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto, was honoured at the 12th edition of the Global Infosec Awards 2024. Cyber Defense Magazine (CDM), the largest and most influential cybersecurity magazine in the world, awarded the company the prestigious title of ‘ Hot Company for Client-Side Protection’.
The company offers business solutions for protecting JavaScript applications and monitoring web pages in real-time. Its Code Integrity model applies JavaScript obfuscation techniques combined with polymorphic behaviour, code blocking, self-defensive capabilities, and threat monitoring, guaranteeing robust and effective protection against various cyber threats.
The specialist cybersecurity company, founded by Pedro Fortuna and Rui Ribeiro in 2014, has already raised more than 15 million euros in investment. It has offices in Portugal (Porto and Lisbon) and the United States (San Francisco).
In addition to Jscrambler, other companies in the sector, such as Deloitte, Microsoft, Cisco and Mastercard, were also recognised in this edition of the Global Infosec Awards.
The award was announced during the RSA Conference in San Francisco, California, one of the world’s most significant cybersecurity events, where Jscrambler presented its innovative technologies at stand #4404.
