SED’UP

The project promotes innovative and sustainable solutions for the reuse of dredged marine sediments in the Atlantic Area, supporting circular economy objectives by transforming sediments from waste into valuable resources. Through scientific research, innovation, and transnational collaboration among public authorities, research institutions, ports, and private stakeholders, it develops and tests practical reuse applications in sectors such as construction, landscaping, and urban planning, while creating replicable value chains that reduce environmental impacts, address regulatory and socio-economic challenges, and foster sustainable development in maritime and port communities.
