What will you be doing?

As Sales & Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding ACE’s presence in Portugal. You combine strong commercial skills with a passion for technology and act as a strategic partner to clients. You identify new opportunities, develop long-term partnerships and actively contribute to ACE’s sustainable growth in existing and emerging markets.

  • Drive business growth by building and managing a robust sales pipeline
  • Sell high-value engineering services and project-based solutions
  • Develop commercial proposals and convert opportunities into successful contracts
  • Represent ACE in the market as a brand ambassador across strategic industrial sectors
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners
  • Identify new sectors, partnerships and market opportunities
  • Combine active prospecting (cold acquisition) with the management of existing relationships
  • Analyse market trends, competition and client needs
  • Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns and positioning
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technically sound and customer-focused solutions

What do you bring to the role?

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Management, or an equivalent business-related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar sales or business development role
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in technical or service-based environments
  • A strong commercial mindset with a clear affinity for technology and engineering
  • Experience in active prospecting and managing long-term relationships
  • Strategic thinking combined with a practical, results-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently whilst maintaining close collaboration with internal teams
  • Good knowledge of the Portuguese industrial market
  • Category B driving licence and willingness to travel for work
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written
