DomiTrack was developed based on scientific evidence collected in partnership with the Portuguese Order of Nurses and is currently supported by the European Union through the StartUP Voucher programme under Portugal 2030 and COMPETE 2030."

Scientific evidence estimates annual losses between €8 and €10 million internationally due to inefficient clinical material management, while Portuguese estimates remain unknown.

Route planning also remains inefficient, and professionals working alone in the field frequently report safety concerns.

At the same time, demand for domiciliary care continues to grow rapidly due to population ageing and increasing healthcare system pressure.
