We built advanced AI models that simulate the Portuguese and Spanish energy market precisely, offering them through a risk management web platform that allows power producers and consumers to estimate how fluctuations in the energy markets will affect their operations in the short and medium term.

PROBLEM

The difficulty of small and medium-sized power producers and consumers to estimate how the energy market will behave and to quantify its risks, to decide on a correct risk management strategy to protect their margins.

SOLUTION

It provides the simulations of the entire energy market for the following 7 days: all types of price auctions, the generation of different types of energy, the power consumed by the grid, etc. These are probabilistic simulations that allow users to see what's the risk of an extreme event and how it will affect their portfolios, allowing them to take decisions in advance to mitigate those risks or take advantage of those opportunities presented.
