Galula is a furniture and lighting brand designed by duo Mendes/Macedo and produced in Portugal. Have the motto “Follow the FUN-ction” evident in the pieces that designers create for the brand they founded, believing that design beyond functional also can be fun! This fun and function is mirrored in the products with a functional approach combined with dynamic and original details in the form and use. They use materials such as cork, wood and iron always with the quality that the Portuguese industry offers, in order to prolong the lifetime of an object. Along with the design and production of products for Galula brand, the duo Mendes/Macedo also draws, under their names, pieces of furniture, lighting, decoration, objects to other brands and companies where they explore different identities and approaches.
