Diogo Aguiar Studio is a multidisciplinary practice working on the boundaries of art and architecture. Founded in 2016 and based in Porto, the atelier, which has an international team and several multidisciplinary partnerships, is dedicated to the construction of space-installations and to the design of small-scale buildings, oscillating between the public and private context. The main works of the office include: the ephemeral installation Start, in Largo dos Lóios, in Porto, under the pretext of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Oporto, Cultural Heritage of Humanity (2016); the Garden Pavilion, in Serralves (Museum of Contemporary Art), in Porto, under the pretext of “Live Uncertainty” – 32nd Biennial of São Paulo (2017); the Temporary Museum Paula Rego, in the Centro Colombo, in Lisbon (2017); and the reconversion of a building at Quinta da Aveleda, in Penafiel (2017).
