Where2Retail joins international group with over 65,000 employees

Where2Retail, a startup incubated at UPTEC – Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto, has completed its integration into RSM group and will now operate in Portugal as part of RSM BUSINESS SOLUTIONS, based in Porto.

The unit in Portugal will continue to be led by Isabel Silva and José Ribas, co-founders of Where2Retail, who now join RSM Business Solutions as sales and partnerships director and operations director, respectively.

“Taking on the leadership of this project represents the consolidation of all the work done so far and the opportunity to take our experience to an international level”, says Isabel Silva. “This step allows us to consolidate all our local know-how under a leading global brand and offer Portuguese customers the same capacity for innovation that we have already unleashed in other markets”.

Since 2019, Where2Retail, now the Portuguese unit of RSM Business Solutions, has been an Alliance Partner of Oracle NetSuite and has developed NetSuite implementation projects in Portugal, Spain, the United States and England. Its expertise covers industries such as distribution, e-commerce, services, software, and manufacturing.

“Our goal with this integration is to act as a technological bridge between Portugal and RSM’s international ecosystem”, adds José Ribas. “Now the competitive difference will be strategic and proximity for companies that want to expand or digitise with a robust ERP Cloud solution”.

In view of the integration, the company has set itself the goal of doubling its turnover within three years, relying on the growing demand for the implementation and customisation of Cloud ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions in strategic sectors. In Portugal, demand for Cloud management solutions remains high, driven by fiscal digitisation and the need for SMEs to reduce ownership costs and gain flexibility.

The RSM group has more than 65,000 professionals in over 120 countries and more than 900 offices, including Portugal, Spain, the United States and England, focusing on the distribution, services, marketplaces and manufacturing sectors.
