UPTEC community unites to support Ukraine

The news that comes from Ukraine every minute is breaking our hearts. A wave of solidarity is spreading all over the world and each and every one of us can do something to help minimize the suffering and humanitarian disaster that is taking place. Therefore, the UPTEC community has been developing some initiatives to support Ukrainian refugees and promote their integration in Portugal.

At UPTEC, we support, day in day out, the creation of better businesses for a better world. Now, it is time to help create a better world, where better businesses can be established, and everyone’s dream of peace becomes a permanent reality.

Donations

UPTEC invites the entrepreneurs and collaborators from the UPTEC community and the whole Portuguese entrepreneurship ecosystem to contribute to UNICEF’s Emergency Ukraine campaign. All together we can restore hope for the future of Ukrainian children and families.

UPTEC is also supporting AMI, whose teams are on the borders of Moldova and Hungary to support the reception of refugees. These teams are also responsible for the acquisition of medicines and essential goods, and then for sending them to Ukraine.

Coworking Spaces

UPTEC wants to be a safe community for entrepreneurs and startups looking for a place to establish their business in Portugal. To help Ukrainian entrepreneurs in this new beginning, UPTEC will provide free coworking workspaces (a desk and wifi) for six months.

If you are a Ukrainian entrepreneur looking for an ecosystem to develop your business, please contact us through apply@uptec.up.pt.

Companies from the UPTEC community are sharing job offers on platforms such as IEFP, FuzzBoard, and  Remote Helpers.
