Presidency of the Republic chooses Filmes do Pinguim to produce video

Os Filmes do Pinguim, a brand of Pinguim Atrevido, an animation and illustration studio based at UPTEC – Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto, produced a video on the correct use of decorations for the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic.

The main objective of the production is to help the public better understand Portuguese decorations, as well as to provide simple and accurate guidance to all those who may be decorated.

The full version of the video, entitled “How to wear a Decoration”, is now available on the Museum’s YouTube channel, contributing to more accessible and educational communication on the subject. In addition, a shorter version will be shown at the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic itself, explaining step by step how to wear a decoration correctly, presenting the different ways of wearing it and formal guidelines, always in accordance with official protocol.

“Collaborations with public entities are opportunities for us to learn more and raise awareness of different issues”, says Jorge Ribeiro, founder of the production company Os Filmes do Pinguim. “These two versions of the video seek to present, explain and enhance the process of using decorations, reinforcing the educational and cultural mission of the Museum of the Presidency”, he adds.

The production company has already had the opportunity to work on other projects with public entities, notably collaborations with the Oeiras City Council on a film about the Marquis of Pombal and also with the Matosinhos City Council, in partnership with the School of Arts of the Catholic University of Porto, on the film Senhelo Calhim.
