Smart Waste Portugal is a non-profit association, which brings together the main national players in the waste area. Smart Waste creates value and opportunities, promotes the business and gives dimension to the waste sector between national and European decision-makers.The ambition is strengthen the position to be considered a strategic and recognized element in the national context, stimulating the economy and the sector internationalization, within five years.The Smart Waste Portugal mission is to “involve all players in the sector, promoting and valuing waste as an economic and social resource, creating conditions to the competitive acting across the value chain through a collaborative approach, promoting innovation, research, development and implementation solutions.”
