SimpleAxis is a technological startup focusing on accelerating the incorporation of Information Technologies in the industry, contributing in this way to the digital transformation of companies and to their differentiation in competitive environments.It was founded by a multidisciplinary team of researchers from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto with advanced skills in several engineering fields.With a portfolio that was initially developed on the field of risk assessment and optimization of structural civil engineering solutions, SimpleAxis has been progressively expanding its activity to other industry sectors, though the development and implementation of advanced solutions to aid on the decision-making process.The close link to the scientific environment of the University of Porto coupled with a deep interaction with its clients, allows SimpleAxis developing functional, innovative and optimized cloud-based solutions targeting gains in productivity, costs reduction and increase of market share.
