BISECT provides software engineering services to several players of the Media & Entertainment market. With more than 20 years of experience in this industry, our team differentiates itself by merging together experience and know-how in both industry-specific protocols and horizontal technologies. It focuses on high-performance IP-based transport of media streams, namely using SMPTE ST2110, RIST, SRT & WebRTC; orchestration and control of media devices using the AMWA NMOS specifications; and GPU-based processing of video and audio streams. With a solid skill set of software engineering, we can deliver full vertical design and development, from the definition of the operating system, to the graphical user interface. BISECT is also an active contributor to standardization efforts, namely in SMPTE and AMWA, and a proficient contributor to open-source projects, especially the EBU Live IP Software Toolkit, of which BISECT is the lead developer. BISECT has also been delivering trainings to hundreds of professionals around the globe, most of which in partnership with the EBU Academy.
