Desalapa was founded to create public entertainment systems while reappropriating one of the more fun formats most commonly present in portuguese households: the board game – adapted to the human scale. Through rotative events that take place in Porto’s metropolitan area, our goal is to decentralize leisuring opportunities and make them widely accessible to different age groups and social classes. In this sense, the participants are invited to experience and walk through the urban arteries adjacent to the municipality of Porto, encouraging social interaction while also promoting a more active lifestyle.
