Cachupa launches communication training program for social impact organizations

Cachupa Creative Studio, a design and multimedia studio incubated at UPTEC – Science and Technology Park of U. Porto, has just launched a program of communication workshops for social impact institutions.

The first edition of these workshops took place from the 24th to the 30th of November at UPTEC Asprela I, and their main objective is to help organizations in the impact ecosystem to develop strategic communication strategies, which allow them to increase the reach and social impact generated by their initiatives.

“We conducted a survey and realized that 93% of respondents agree that most Social Economy Organizations (OES) have unsatisfactory communication. The truth is that, according to INE, there are more than 70 thousand organizations, but there are few that invest in communication and make known the real impact of their work”, highlights Pedro Fragoso Lopes, CEO of Cachupa.

The program thus aims to help fill the gap in this type of institution and also opens the door to companies that, in line with social responsibility policies, finance the participation of OES. Pedro adds that “it is essential to decentralize impact communication and promote the communication of OES that cannot communicate as well as OES that have more financial, human and material resources”.

Cachupa is a design and multimedia studio founded in 2018 which specializes in communication for organizations that aim to generate positive social and environmental impact. Since then, he has worked with entities such as Sociedade Ponto Verde, Fundação Manuel António da Mota, IES-Social Business School, Movimento Transformers, the Center for Social Innovation of the Porto City Council or UDREAM, among others.

The sessions take place online and in person and cost €180 for individual registrations and €340 for teams, excluding VAT. Registration is open until November 20th via the Cachupa Creative Studio website, where more information about these Workshops is also available.
