Projecto Construir (Project Building) - Association of Social Intervention, is one a social entrepreneurial initiative which aims to provide support for institutionalized persons, particularly children, by providing them with unique moments, playful and educational in nature, through their involvement in construction activities of large-scale models made with LEGO ®.

The company intends to offer all beneficiaries the chance to be involved in ambitious projects of great impact, to help them cope with the difficulties of their daily lives and give them their soul force to overcome its present condition.

On the other hand, it is intended that the projects of great complexity make them overcome themselves, increasing their self-esteem, accomplishment and appreciation, as well as motivation for their full social reintegration. In short, wanted to boost the response to treatment and motivate beneficiaries for healing.

The use of the technique of model building with LEGO ® aims - because we consider that the whole "Lego Experience" is a single junction point between the playful and artistic aspect – to enhance self-esteem, self-discipline, motivation for collaborative work and concentration, becoming a mean for boosting the results of treatment in the case of institutionalized children in hospitals, or in the activity of social rehabilitation for other institutions.

The activities associated with the "Lego building" will allow, also, to provide educational and rewarding moments to all its beneficiaries, producing highly attractive to the general public.
