Efisenergy is a company where a business idea is being developed by two entrepreneurs, engineers, with the aim of introducing solar concentration technologies in buildings.

The system consists of a solar concentrator to produce electricity and hot water for building use. Solar radiation is reflected by a number of heliostats to a fixed point. Throughout the day, the heliostats run on two axes to ensure that sunlight is being reflected to the point of concentration. At this point, solar radiation is converted into electrical energy. The excess heat which is not converted to electrical energy is used to heat water for building use, working also as a cooling system.

Thus, it is possible to have an electrical efficiency of ~ 35% and a thermal efficiency of ~40%. The total is ~75%, able to compete with solar thermal collectors. This factor allows the replacement of thermal solar collectors for Efisenergy systems in buildings, which warrants a higher income due to the electricity production.
